What inspired you to write the book, Breakdown: A Clinician’s Experience in a Broken System of Emergency Psychiatry , that got published in October of 2018? . If they don’t qualify for inpatient, I can refer them to outpatient treatment programs or give them self-help material. My job is to make this happen.
