In the past few months, I’ve gotten more ambitious with how I plan. I’d read a book earlier this year about prioritizing your time, and it caused me to reflect on how I spend my free time. I know I’ll never get the absolute most out of my free time (who does, am I right?), but I know mental illness can create further issues when making time for myself.

This is how I cope with a bad day. I say a bad day but it can last for weeks. As I am healing more the week long or month long stretches of depression and anxiety along with my other symptoms have decreased but I still have bad days and bad weeks. I hope the month long episodes are over with but for now I just try to cope with each day as it comes. The other day I woke up and I just didn’t want to get out or bed.

That is one where the child (and parents) meet with multiple professionals of various disciplines all of whom have some degree of cross-training and where those professionals then meet together to review their findings to arrive at an integrated understanding of the child’s strengths and issues.
