NASW national has left X (formerly know as Twitter)

Social Work Blog

NASW national decided in January to leave X (formerly known as Twitter). This was not a decision we made lightly. However, the NASW national office decided to go inactive when X removed guardrails designed to restrict the flow of misinformation and disinformation. You can still see our X account but there will be no new postings as of Jan. 31. Other NASW chapters had already decided to leave X before national.

On Jan. 29, Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) officially joined the Defense Departments Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) , through a formal induction ceremony. As part of this partnership, CCAoA became one of more than 200 new organizations joining MSEP, adding to the network of more than 850 employers dedicated to recruiting, hiring, promoting , and retaining military spouses in meaningful careers.

I was in my early teens and mostly annoyed that the Watergate hearings were interrupting my TV shows. There is generally a peaceful transfer of power and usually an administrative adjustment to the center. Policies, Democrat and Republican, were predictable and less anxiety-producingeven though I didnt agree with a certain political partys policies.
