Johnson’s adolescence was riddled with suicide attempts and hospitalizations, and he ultimately was diagnosed with schizophrenia as early as age 16, according to the Missouri Supreme Court.

Social prescribing is a lovely idea but it won’t make up for the care I’m not getting

Access to the specialist day centre for people with severe and enduring mental illness (such as schizophrenia and bipolar) I’d been attending since being sectioned had been withdrawn as a result of council funding cuts. The activities they proposed were completely inaccessible to me as a disabled person.
