Anxiety, as a disorder, is about feelings betraying the mind as the feelings are either disproportionate to the triggering event or an independent experience. Hence counseling for the parent to better understand the dynamics of anxiety and their role in management can be more helpful than the child’s attendance in counseling.

Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease and is often seen as an autoimmune disorder. Negative outcomes often include mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and even personality disorders. Then there are physical disorders and ailments of which Crohn’s is one.
