All I ask is that you keep our conversations here confidential, to respect other peoples’ privacy. Many were here with post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, so common following participation in armed conflict and in some cases, the result of physical or sexual abuse. I worked at a university for about ten years. No one left.

It's worth noting, too, that only 15 of these 81 individuals suffered schizophrenia ; 40 suffered depression, 8 PTSD, 10 personality disorder, etc. Every year the University of Manchester produces what is now called The National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Safety in Mental Health.
