But at the same time, the very idea of therapy as a transaction seems to cancel what’s important in that: Prostitution is relatively direct and ‘clinical’, or at worst is the selling of a fantasy of a relationship. Gaita is a 17 year old ward assistant in a psychiatric hospital. It’s fruits are ‘joy, peace and mercy’. Nobody visits.
