That’s where the new skills I have developed during my recovery came handy. So, I used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, my daily mantra and meditation to deal with them. It turned out that as I was progressing into my recovery. Reminding me that I’m a patient, weak, ill, disabled, doomed. Which wasn’t true.
